How to read this board.Line = the point spread (the favorite gives that many points). Total = the over/under line for combined points.
Opening line = the first line posted for a game — game headers show it as "Opened −3.5", and every move since is measured against it.
Best spread = the most favorable spread available right now, and the book offering it.
Juice (the vig) = the book's commission, built into the price: at −110 you risk 110 to win 100 — the extra 10 is the juice.
The Source = Stu's own power-rating model — it prices every game; the gap between its fair line and the market's is where plays come from. Source fair / edge = The Source's fair spread and its gap vs the market; a gap flags a game to investigate, not an automatic bet.
Splits — Bets % is the share of all bets placed on a side, Money % is the share of all dollars wagered; money well above bets means bigger bettors are on that side.
Steam = a fast line move of a point or more showing up at many books at once. The badge shows the biggest move itself — e.g. TOTAL −2.0 · 6 books means the total dropped 2 points and 6 books recorded a move that size.
Public = the side the crowd is on: more bets (tickets) than money on that side. Sharp = the side the money favors: more money than bets — the bigger bettors' side. Both badges appear when the bets-vs-money gap is 20 points or more; line followed means the line has moved toward the money side, line frozen means it hasn't.
Vegas Exposed = one side holds more than 85% of the money in the spread or total market, so the books pay big if that side wins. It's built from percentage splits sampled across the books — a concentration proxy, not any single book's actual liability ledger.
Grades: Pass (no play) · Watch (monitoring) · Lean (0.5u lean) · Best Bet (1u).
CLV (closing line value) = how the flagged line compares with the closing line; positive means the market moved our way.
Pin = Pinnacle, the sharp reference book. SRS = Simple Rating System power ratings behind The Source.
ML = moneyline — betting a team to win outright, no points involved; the price is the payout odds. ATS = against the spread: whether a team beat its closing number ("covered"). A team covers when it beats the spread; at exactly the number it pushes.
